The Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne has the honour to announce the appointment of Carole Doyard to the rank of Dame Dignitaire, during a ceremony held on 21 January 2026.
A committed winegrower from the Côte des Blancs, deeply attached to Vertus and to the history of Champagne, Carole Doyard now joins the circle of Dignitaries of the Order — a unique body dedicated to promoting the influence of Champagne in France and internationally. This elevation recognises a career marked by passion, collective commitment, and unwavering dedication to the values of transmission and excellence.
During the ceremony, the Commander of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, François-Xavier Morizot, highlighted what makes the Order distinctive and strong: its unique position within the appellation, its interprofessional governance, and the singular experience it offers by bringing together leading Champagne Houses and winegrowers around a shared ambition to uphold and defend the Champagne heritage.
The great-granddaughter of Maurice Doyard, a major figure in the interprofessional history of Champagne and a key contributor to the Commission de Châlons in 1935, Carole Doyard embodies a continuity that unites memory, responsibility, and a forward-looking vision.
By joining the Conseil Chapitral, Carole Doyard commits to actively contributing to the mission of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne: to defend, promote, and enhance the renown of Champagne wines, their diverse expressions, and the women and men who bring them to life.
