An Exceptional Black-Tie Gala Dinner of Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne in New York

On December 5, 2026, Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne invites you to New York for an exceptional Gala Dinner held on to the iconic site of Ellis Island.

For the first time in its history, Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne will open its gala to a limited number of Champagne lovers and connoisseurs of fine living, offering a select audience the rare opportunity to experience its unique universe, in the presence of Commandeur François-Xavier Morizot.

The evening has been designed as a carefully orchestrated journey. At sunset, guests will depart from Manhattan by ferry, crossing the harbor to Ellis Island. The passage by the Statue of Liberty, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will mark a highly symbolic moment, echoing the Champagne region itself, whose Hillsides, Houses and Cellars are also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, guests will attend the Grand Induction Ceremony, a formal moment that reveals the heritage, rituals, and codes of Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne. The ceremony will be followed by a tasting of exceptional cuvées, before culminating in a black-tie gala seated dinner.

This exceptional evening will offer guests the rare privilege of tasting some of the world’s finest Champagnes, including aged vintages from the Houses’ oenotheques, alongside rare cuvées to be served only once for this singular occasion.

Champagne Houses represented by their leaders will include Billecart-Salmon, Bruno Paillard, Canard-Duchêne, de Venoge, Deutz, Devaux, Drappier, Joseph Perrier, Laurent-Perrier, Michel Gonet et Perrier-Jouët.

This New York Gala Dinner marks an important evolution for Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne. Traditionally limited to a close circle of members, the New York Gala is opening to non-members, who will have the opportunity to book individual tickets or host a table for their own distinguished guests.

New York City is a city defined by movement and reinvention. Here, it meets Champagne, a land rooted in heritage and transmission. On Ellis Island, a place shaped by history and memory, these two worlds come together for a singular celebration of excellence, heritage, and the art of living.
